The staff were courteous and friendly. The views from the hotel are magnificent. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
I felt that some parts of the decoration inside the hotel need a little attention.

the location was great with a short walk to the cliffs to see the channel and ports. A real country inn not a square box with a shower ! slept extremly well ready for the day ahead.
If we have to complain it would be that the meal was a bit expensive for what was presented, but we have had a lot worse in 5 star hotels.

The location of hotel is good, overlooking sea with pleasant country walks along coastal path. We were allocated a very small attic type room, Nearby Folkestone is unfortunately very tired and old fashioned, and you needed to travel to Sandgate for a more pleasant area. Dover Castle is a must to visit.
The Hotel is a little tired and our room was small and pokey, OK for a couple of days, but no more.

The location and the fact they did have a family room.
The restaurant bill wasn´t itemised and in fact was incorrect. The additional side orders were not listed on the menu, and 4 pounds for a childrens portion of chips is excessive.

We were pleasantly suprised by this charming hotel. Our family sized room was large, airy and spotlessly clean, it was room 1, we also had a look at room 2 sea view again large airy and clean. The food we had was very good and well presented. Hotel decor a bit tired in places. We thought the deal we got through Booked.net was excellent value for money. Thanks!

Lighthouse Inn has a pleasant and relaxing atmohsphere similar to a Bed and Breakfast. View of the English Channel was simply breath taking. Staff is hospitable and pleasant. I would definatly return for another visit.
